“Something is wrong when our lives make sense to non-believers.” – Francis Chan (Crazy Love)
I read that sentence, and then I had to read it again.
It’s something that I’ve been trying to figure out recently: how am I set apart from the world?
I think, a lot of times, besides going to church on Sundays, my life makes sense to many non-believers.
But it shouldn’t, should it?
Joseph – Thanks for sharing the statement. I had to read it twice as well. Hmm… I think that the overall direction of our lives should not make sense – being shaped and guided by a vision of God’s kingdom that may not make sense to those who have not yet tasted this vision.
I completely agree with your comment and liked the phrase “tasted this vision”
