I was driving home yesterday listening to my iPod (through the aux port in my car, not through the earphones).
Tupac’s Changes started to play (I usually have my iPod on random when driving).
I hadn’t heard that song in a while and took a deep breath to be ready to follow along, wondering if I even remember all the words.

Then, in the second verse, comes the line “although it seems heaven sent/ we ain’t ready to see a black president”

And I wondered what Tupac would’ve said if he were still alive today.
I suddenly had an urge to buy a 40 and pour some on the ground.

Ever since then, I’ve been on this Tupac kick on my iPod.
