So, we need to raise at least 10,000 dollars for our summer work team.
Given the economic situation, the task seems more daunting than it normally would.
And on top of that, I don’t like doing fundraisers. I’m not good at organizing these kinds of things.
It’s no surprise, then, that sometimes, looking at what needs to be done, I can get anxious and overwhelmed.
When I start feeling like that, I’m reminded of Philippians 4:6-7.
So, blogosphere community, any fundraising tips and/or ideas?
Or, you could send us money too 😉
I’ve been doing fundraisers for some time now and was looking for a really unique item to focus on that would involve both students and parents. I was told by my friend to look into Phogos.
Phogos are custom cutout wall graphics made from your digital camera that adhere to a clean flat wall surface.
They are life-sized and made of vinyl so they don’t damage your walls or your paint. And they are reusable!
You are able to start a fundraiser right through Phogos and it was extremely easy to do. AND parents LOVED this idea. I have to say, it is pretty cool. I got one for my son. He now has a life sized picture of him playing soccer hanging on his wall. It’s such a great way to show support.
This is my new favorite item!
(keep in mind that these don’t have to be pictures of family members, it could be a mural of a sunset that you took on your favorite vacation)
