Do you think Jesus ever thought that?
Or, “what am I doing here?”

Do you think that thought ever crossed his mind?
He’s sitting around with his disciples, enjoying a meal. They’re outside on the fields, not much is said, each man deep in his own thoughts.
And here’s Jesus, just surveying his disciples, thinking about them and what they’ve done so far.
And just for a moment, just for a second, do you think Jesus just shook his head and said, “what the heck was I thinking? Look at them! Not one parable! They can’t get not one parable!”
