I found my prayer journal from seminary.
During seminary, I kept a prayer journal. Every prayer that I had, I wrote it down.
It was interesting to see what and who I was praying for.
I have names and request from my Covenant Discipleship Group in seminary.
Prayers for strength and hope in hard times I faced.
Prayers for love and grace for the people I faced.

Most of the prayers, I could put a check next to because God answered them in one way or another. Looking back, majority of the prayers were answered, but not in the way I wanted God to answer them.

I also saw that this journal had way too much blank pages, so I decided to continue on keeping a prayer journal after a 4 year hiatus.

I would also encourage you to keep a prayer journal. For me, it gives me another aspect of prayer and communion with God. After every 6 months or so, I do revisit the prayers just to see how those prayers were answered, and it gives me a greater understanding of who God is and what God is not.

On that same note, I’d also encourage you to keep a daily journal. 🙂
