This week is my last week at Mesa Verde UMC.
Truth is, everything is happening so fast, I don’t have time to let all these emotions sink in.
I’m sure I won’t be able to digest this month until I get some time off in June.
Too many things are occupying my mind.
The final sermon. The funeral this Friday that I have an honor of leading. The packing. Oh my goodness, the packing.
For those Mesa Verde members who stumble upon my blog here and there, thank you for a great 1 1/2 years. I’m sure that I’ll have my chances to thank you throughout this week. But also know that I thank God for you and this journey we shared together.
I am certain that all of this that is happening has God fingerprints smudged all over. So in faith, I pack and get ready to leave.
I am excited, nervous, scared, anxious, joyous and other emotions that can be described as: ah, uh, urg, bah, woo, blargh, yehoo, chee-hu and so forth.
I’m ready to see how God’s gonna mess around with my life this time around.
That God has a wicked sense of humor if you ask me.
Don’t believe me?
After reading this, go take a long look in the mirror. =)
