2010 is over and done.
What would sum up your 2010? How would you finish the sentence: Year 2010 for me was the year of______?

For me, 2010 was simply, the year of change. We got a mid-year appointment. That was big of a change on its own. But, a lot about me changed. The way I think about certain things, my sentiments towards certain things (like the UMC), and my theology has changed a bit. For the better.

So, then, what would your 2011 be?
What 2011 may be (or not be) is dependent on us. We’ll make decisions and choices, those that go along with God’s plan and those that go along with our very own plan.

For me, the year 2011 will be the year of obedience.
There are many times when I know God was calling me to do something, and I mean, I KNEW it was God, but I didn’t go along with it for various reasons: I was scared, I was… well scared pretty much sums up all my excuses.
But this year, I want to be more in tune with what God is calling me to do. I want to be more obedient to what God is calling me to do in my life.
