I met Helicon at Starbucks here in Santa Barbara and we bump into each other a lot and end up talking –forgoing our respective work that we came to Starbucks to do.
It has been nice to connect with another Asian-American pastor and just share our stories and, well, frustrations that we face as young Asian-American pastors. There’s nothing that brings people together like struggles and the, “I know how you feel, man.”
In one of our encounters, I thought, wait — I should record this conversation. And so he graciously accepted my invitation and here we are.
