DY – NA – MO

I’ve always liked to root for a team in the city/state I lived in.
Hence:
Washington Football Team (although, it hasn’t been the same the longer Snyder has owned the team. I don’t usually say this often … and mean it… but Snyder is really, really not a good person).
Los Angeles Clippers.

Oh. That’s it.
I don’t watch baseball. Hawaii doesn’t have a professional team — although many root for the 49ers. Maybe now it’ll be the Raiders since a lot of people in Hawaii frequent Vegas.

It’s been 5 years since I’ve been in Houston and don’t really have a local team to root for.
That is, until now.

You’re looking at the newest season ticket holder for the Houston Dynamo’s.
It’s… weird… funny… the things one wants in life. Or, more precisely, the status symbols one holds as a mark of ”we made it.”

My brother and I talked about how having a Simple Human trash bin is a status symbol.
For me, it’s being a season ticket holder for a sports team.
I can’t tell you why.
But I’ve always thought it was cool.

And now, I get to live this dream out.

Granted, I’ve never seen a (full) MLS game on TV, let alone in person but I don’t think that’s gonna matter.

So yea!
I gotta lot of things to get familiar with before the season begins!
I’m glad that rooting against Dallas has been consistent throughout my life, though.
