I wrote in an earlier post about my competing at the Roar Story Slam put on by Korean American Story.
The stories are now available for the general public to see/hear.

It’s still a surreal experience.
And, really, more than the 2nd place and prize money — what I deeply appreciate about this experience was… the experience. It was such a cool event and I got to meet so many new people. I’m thoroughly grateful for this opportunity.

Below is my story.
Go to their channel to see the other 5 stories as well!

And if you enjoyed that, then consider getting my book When the Saints Go Flying In: Stories about Faith, Life, and Everything in Between. The last chapter goes into a bit more detail about our adoption process and just the life lessons my son has taught me over the years.
